Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I entered a contract with Direct Buy on a Friday. I called to cancell the contract Sat, Sun, and Monday. Is this contract still binding I left messages and talked to the receptionist but no one returned my call?

The answer, apparently, would be yes, unless you were solicited by company
representatives to undertake such a contract via your home telephone or
by personally coming to your home in which case you would have 72 hours to cancel the contract under the Virginia Home Sales Solicitation Act or, if such
contract contained a provision specifically allowing you a certain "grace period"
to cancel, irrespective of the circumstances under which it was sold to and
signed by you and of which you took timely advantage.
