Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Failure to provide service by a failing company
I paid for 1 years DSL (high-speed internet access) service for my home. After a month, the company has ceased business operations. They've disconnected their phones and made no contact with me. Do I have any recourse?
Thank you.

You can sue them (unless they've filed bankruptcy, in which case you file a proof of claim), but they are probably out of business because they ran out of money, so your chances of recovery are slim.
