Garnishment Summons
I was hired by the owner of a company to do work for the company co. did not pay awarded judgment in court in order to garnish would the judgment debitor be the name of the company or the owner of the company who signed the work order? Also on form it asks for social security number I don't have anything other than the owners name and company name and address would I have them just serve the company? how would the company be garnished?

A Virginia garnishment summons is designed to attached wages of an individual employee of an employer which is why the form askes that a SS# be listed on the summons; it is not intended to attach assets of a business entitly such as a company to pay a debt which the company may owe.
The remedy for which you may be looking to attach the debtor company's assets to pay this judgment is a levy against one or more of its operating business bank accounts.
