Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia

judgement placed against me

I work for a small computer co. as contract labor. I basicly am the only one in the shop most of the time. My boss ordered some signs for the shop, per verbal agreement, for computer services rendered for payment towards the signs. The maker of the signs reniged on the sign agreement, the maker of the signs went and got a judgement against me for the signs. I am just contract labor for this company. Now I have a judgement against me. It has been paid. but the maker of the signs will not file the paper work to get the judgement released from me. what can I do.

Re: judgement placed against me

You can file a petition with the court where the judgment is recorded to have it removed by attaching proof of payment in full to the paperwork.
