Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Is it lawful to sue some one using ill gotten gains from past drug dealings? The proof would be in the past work record of the person. Our non profit charitable corporation is being sued by one of its ex members and is funding the law suit from profits made laundering past drug money, is it legal to use these funds now to try to embezzle more $ from the non profit corporation? Is there any way to legaly stop this drug money fueled law suit?

In my opinion, the alleged source(s) of the funds for the plaintiff's lawsuit
against your organization would not likely constitute a viable defense.
