How long after a service (install/repair) is completed can someone be billed for that service? 6 months? 2 years?

Would seem to depend upon the contract for the service, i.e., whether
it was oral or written. If the former, then three years, but if the latter, then five.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answer. A lot of people mistakenly think if a company "forgets" to send the bill, and it finally shows up six months later, they're off the hook. Doesn't work that way. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
