Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I am a massage therapist in a small town. The spa that I work for is in the process of merging with another spa. The new management wants me to sign a non-compete clause which prohibits me from working at another position in my field within a 10 mile radius for 4 years after I leave my job. Is this legal, and how would it be enforced?

The 10 mile radius could be legal in terms of Virginia's non-compete laws
but I believe the four year time limitation is much too long and would likely
be unenforceable (my opinion).
