Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I ordered a product (service) online and never received the product. I am considering filing a lawsuit and was wondering if the statute of limitation is 1 year, or if there is any way to extend the statute of limitations beyond 1 year?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. You can't simply extend a statute of limitations (unless the other party agrees). Since you ordered online, there is a writing and therefore the normal statute of limitations (usually more than a year) should apply. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
