Photo Lab Loses Photos
I sent film and a check to cover develping costs via mail to an out of state photo lab. The lab lost my film. Do they have any obligation other than to return my money? Thank you so much.

Read the contract. Chances are it limits their liability to the replacement cost of the film (and a refund of money paid). Such limitations are generally valid.
