Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Power of Attorney Witnesses
My mom is in the hospital and has requested that I put together a power of attorney for her. We were wondering if it has to be signed by a notary to be legal or is two witnesses sufficient.

Re: Power of Attorney Witnesses
The instructions coming with the POA form should indicate how it is to be completed. (I would not advise for you "to put together" the POA yourself but use a form approved for use in the Commonwealth of Virginia.)
