Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
A proposal was made to have this very unique lounge... The lounge is a gaming lounge... Where people come together to play play games on a console/computer/pool table etc... Now the marketgroup for this area is very diverse... The idea was that from 0600-1330 Kids of all ages can come and play (Now this place will be open 24 hours)-- From 0600-1330 we would provide a sort of childcare facility/ watching kids from 6 months and up---Then from 1330 to 2000 we will have kids coming off of school to use the facility that age group is around 12-21 respectively--- Then after 2000 the adults would come in and we are questioning the idea of being able to open up a bar at that point until 0200 in the morning--- The childcare facility would be in a separate room but next to the gaming lounge... My question is/ Would this be doable legally? Granted many parents may be objected to the idea of having a bar next door...

You could check it out first with the local zoning board/local land use
agency to determine whether it would pass muster with these folks. (I have
my doubts.)
The it would have to be cleared with the ABC folks in Richmond for alcohol
licensure which could be another problem.
