Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I have been trying to research a home based business called Coastal Travel club and in my research I have come accross some items that I can not verify and would like to know either how to figure out what the truth is or to find out the governing laws on the way the directors get paid I believe it is called a pass up or pay up which ever the gist of it is when new person joins at what ever level the first two sales commissions are payed up or passed on to the director that brought you in signed you up and I have run accross that this might be ilegal can you offer any insight on this.

Sounds like a Ponzi scheme of some sort, however, I have no particular
suggestions as to how one would verify that. (However, if I were you and thinking about possibly investing in this "home based business", I would definitedly pass up the opportunity to do so.)
