Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Hello my name is Sharon Wood I need help I opened a salon and their is five girls in the shop we are working under one name and working for are self but the lease is in my husbands name. We just found out that the other girls are causing trouble does my husband have the right to tell them to leave the building or do we need to get something from the court house ? I was wondering if we can tell them to leave do we have to give them so many days or months to leave?

No, unless these girls are working under a contract which guarantees them
various rights with respect to the business and the business premises, your husband as the lessee of the premises and/or you as presumably the business owner (or co-owner) could tell the troublemakers to leave at any time
(and without making a trip to the courthouse to secure a judge's permission--in
my opinion).
