Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I was sued by an ex landlord for 40,000. I have a small business wife and 6 kids. They have now taken a judgement against my business for 8000 and emptied my bank acct. i did not have much, this is a small bagel shop and nowI have no way to pay anything. This is destroying my business and my life. Is there ANYTHING i can do? I cant even afford an attorney.
Any advise will be very helpful!
Thank you,
Sonny

As a Franchise Attorney I recommend you see someone about filing for bankruptcy. That will discharge all your outstanding liabilities (except for tax debts). Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
