Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
I have a vehicle from a very shady rip off dealer. I got the vehicle set up to be paid off in one year. It has been 17 months and the dealer keeps tellin me I still owe and is refusing to show me his reciept or balance books. Although I do not have all of my reciepts, I know very well the vehicle is paid off. This guy is a crook and has been taken to court for ripping people off all the time. What can I do about this when I know my vehicle is paid off?

If you paid by check, I would suggest that you contact
your bank to recover as many copies as these checks as you can. If
you used other means of payment, you will also need to
recover copies of what was used in these transactions to the extent possible
Without this kind of documentation to corroborate your
claims, it's merely your word against that of this apparently
predator car dealer.
