Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
After having been given a verbal offer of employment as an LPN for a nursing home, I was informed after a background check , They could not hire me because of a misdemeaner conviction back in the 1980's for a concealed weapon. Can a company do that?, and if so is it, is it legal?

Yes, they can do it if they choose and I am not aware of any law that would
prohibit it.
