Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Help!!
i have worked at this store for 13 years and i awas informed today that because i do not have a car and a drivers license that i have to step down to a cook or a server! i was told i have to have all this by december2008! and i have never been in trouble with the law!

So, your question is(presumably), can your employer now legally impose these requirements on you which have never before been required in all of your previous 13 years of employemnt with this particular employer?
And, the answer is, yes, the employer very likely can, unless you're currently working under the protection of a contract or collective bargaining type of agreement which would prohibit such requirements under these circumstances.
