As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney's comment. In general, employers cannot require employees to pay for negligent acts, like missing beer, etc. If this happens, contact your local employment development or labor department and report it. They will investigate and take corrective action, if necessary. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
