what is length of before property is considered abandon?

Depends on the state, you should be able to find this information and the process to claim it at the county clerk's office.

There is no particular period that I am aware of in which any particular property in the Commonwealth is necessarily deemed to be statutorily abandoned.(Landlords, of course, may dispose of property left by a former tenant in or about a former rental unit after a reasonable period of time.)
Washington state may have a different
approach to so-called abandoned property.
