Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

I allowed a so called friend to move into a room in my house. She supposedly had absolutely nowhere else to go so I made the offer for her to stay here with me until she got back on her feet. Well after about 2 months, I became aggravated by things that were happening around here. She became slack on cleaning up after herself, and she had friends come over that smoked and they would leave cigarette butts all over my front yard. I had a talk to her about it and she went off the deep end. She threatened to get the police involved saying that I would throw her things out and lock her out and I never once mentioned that. In our second argument, she told me she was going to call the police and say that I threatened to kill her. I was appalled. I helped her when she had nowhere to go and she was never once appreciative of that. I need her out of here. I never asked money from her because I know she's struggling so there's no lease. She's not getting mail here either. She still has nowhere to go but I don't want her here anymore. What do I have to do to get her out of my home.

Go down to the clerk's office of your local general district court (civil division) and explain to one of the

clerk's that you have someone living in your home whom you now want to evict and the clerk

should then be able to provide you with the paperwork which you'll need to fill out to get

this eviction process underway.(And, yes, FYI, it's basically the same procedures which any landlord has to

go through in evicting a regular tenant who is in material violation of her lease.)
