Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
I was arrested on several charges and served six and a half months. The arresting officer has recently been fired after it was evidenced that he was a convicted felon. The courts decision has been overturned on the basis that I was not given a fair trial. Am I entitled to any compensation for the time I spent incarcerated?
