Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
I have been asked to sign a non compete agreement with my company. I recvd the document through email last Thursday. I recvd an email today,Monday, 4 days later stating that if I don't return the signed document today, that paychecks for this week will not be made. I do have some concerns with the content of the non compete agreement, however I have bigger concerns with how this is being handled by the company that I work for. Is any of this being handled in an illegal manner? Do I have any protections in this action?

No, probably not, and any protection you may have likely lies in having a lawyer familiar with Virginia non-compete agreements review this one ASAP.
