asked to stay away from public community hospital??

I was an employee of my local hospital 11 months ago. Due to my present job in healthcare, I have to occasionally make visits to the hospital. Recently, I received a letter from the HR Dept stating that I not come to the facility anymore, stating that I had been seen having lunch there (which I was not...). I followed this letter up with a clarification that I had not been having lunch there, but in fact delivering labwork, and HR's information was wrong. This letter was followed up by a phone call to me telling me not to come into the hospital. When I asked why, the HR director refused to give me a reason. I told him I had not had any ill-encounters at the facility, and had been in and out maybe 8 or so times in the last year--so, what had precipitated this letter all of the sudden? He refused to answer again. I told him, in realtions to my present job in home health, I had to visit the hospital and he told me to ''find other means.'' He told me ''Don't push us to do anything more formal'' Can I be barred from a non-profit, public, community hospital? Not privately owned...for no apparent reason...and oh...I filed a suit against the hospital with the Dept of Labor a year ago...that's why they dislike me so. They botched my pay.

Re: asked to stay away from public community hospital??

More information/relevant facts would appear to be necessary in order to provide a reasonably reliable answer to this particular question.(I would doubt, nevertheless, that the HR director would have the authority necessary to bar you from the hospital under the circumstances which you've described.)
