Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Charging Party
My question is in an EEOC ruling on my part. I am not sure what this means:
Respondent agrees to pay Charging Party (Me) compensatory damages.
Thank You
Tom

Re: Charging Party
"Compensatory damages" means an award of money sufficient to reimburse you for direct, proveable, out-of-pocket expenditures you sustained because of the Respondent's actions.
