Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

civil case

What does it mean if you plead ''No Contest'' in a civil case. A law enforcement has a warrant to pick up your juvinile son, but does not have a warrant to come into your home, he finds a marijuana ''roach'' and uses this to incarcerate you for Ingestion. Then in Court testifies that he had a warrant to enter the home. Can this law enforcement person do this and get away with this.

Re: civil case

Your inquiry appears confused; the plea

of nolo contendere (no contest) is used in criminal and not civil cases.

Possession of marijuana involves a criminal and not a civil matter. If the officer discovered the contraband(roach) in the course of picking up the juvenile, he would likely have probable cause to arrest the owner of the roach.
