Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
company policy states: "use your discretion" with regards to body tatoos. It does not state to cover them. My district manager is asking me to cover my tatoos, though at least 40% of the employees in his district have tatoos. If a company's policy does not state that the tatoo has to be covered and to use my discretion in regards to body art/tatoos, would I have legal grounds to sue for discrimination if fired for not covering the tatoo?

Probably, not viable grounds(in my opinion) if the policy is such that the district
managers are given the discretionary authority to override it.
