Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
contracts
My (teacher's) contract says that I will follow any directions designated by our head of school.
Would this override my right to free speech? (She's instructed me to say something that is untrue.)

Re: contracts
The directions referred to presumably are in connection with your legitimate work as a teacher and the operations of the school in general and in no way should compel you to fabricate or say anything that you know to be untrue.
