desturbance at house police took weapons now fighting to recover weapons

If no charges have been filed, you should be able to get these weapons
back by contacting the local law enforcement agency which seized them.
However, if charges have been filed deriving from this alleged disturbance, then you will likely have to wait until the cases are disposed of.
