I had A felony when i was A juvenile (17yrs) and now Im 32 and I want to purchase A firearm, I live in the state of Virginia, is it legal for me to try and purchase a firearm?

Depends upon what information you must disclose on the application for the firearm purchase under the Brady law as codified in Virginia statute(s).
If it is only requesting felony conviction information incurred as an adult, then obviously you don't need to disclose it. However, if it clearly also includes your juvenile record, then the transaction is likely to result in NO SALE.
