Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

I have a felony on my record from 10-12 years ago that I was not convicted of. It was reduced to a misdemeanor but the felony charge is still there. Can I get it expunged? How?

No, you cannot get it expunged under the circumstances described, but you

might want to contact the Central Criminal Records Exchange(CCRE) in Richmond to assure that the offense is listed in the Commonwealth's official records as no more than a misdemeanor.
