Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
After my final divorce decree in the property settlement the judge awarded me 60 percent of the home he awarded my spouse 40 percent of the home. My question is my spouse responsible for the morgage payment on their 40 percent of the home and the taxes and insurance. And are there any codes in the Virginia law that shows this.

No, as far as I am aware there are not. (The intent of this order is likely that the marital home should be sold and the proceeds of the sale split according to the percentages referenced in this final decree--unless one of the spouses can be persuaded to buy out the interest of the other.)
