Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Is it legal to move property that isnt yours?
I moved into a house (no written agreement) they said they I needed to pay them some money for the time stayed there, I stayed for about a month. I paid them 144 dollars. I moved out and left my furniture there till the following week., I went and tried to tell them I wanted to get my stuff back and they wouldnt let me. They then moved my stuff out of the house. is that okay?

Why would it be "okay"? Consider filing a warrant in detinue against these "theys" in your local general district court(civil division) for the return of any of any of your property which is still being wrongfully withheld from you by any of these "theys".
