Minor Questioned by Police
Can a 9 year old child be questioned by police/deputy without the parents being notified or being present?

Depending upon the particular circumstantces involved, such questioning of a minor might be necessary in order for the police to take action required to protect themselves and/or others and therefore it would be permissible.
