Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
I am trying to move out, i'm 18. My parents are extremely controlling and telling me that they can stop me from moving out. I have a kidney problem which i know i can take care of on my own, and i would be living with some friends for awhile. I would like to know if my parents can really stop me from moving out and if i leave will the cops or court do anything?

If you're 18 or older, the answer must very likely be NO on both counts.
