Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
occupant removal
You allow someone down on his luck to move in and agree he will pay half of expenses. As he has paid 200 out of 865 in 6 weeks,and their was no written agreement, do you have to give him 30 day notice?

Why certainly, afterall, he was/is your tenant (after a fashion and, apparently, by your invitation), and, therefore, must be accorded the panoply of rights which by law must necessarily accompany such status.
