Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
My personal information was sold without my knowledge or permission
I consigned some clothing with Owner A and Owner A decided to sell her business to Owner B without giving me (and apparantley many others) notice. Owner A also gave Owner B a list of names, addresses and phone numbers of her consignors. I did sign a contract with Owner A which says she is not responsible for loss, damage or liability to my items however, I think what Owner A did is illegal.
Please advise.

No, I disagree unless, perhaps, the contract which you signed with A contained a provision which prohibited such action on her part.
