my husband is locked-up in jail the only van i had to drive was in my husband name and my father-in law tooked it from me and my kids. i need to know what are my legal rights since i am still married to my husband.

Your father-in-law could not take away your husband's vehicle from you, except if there was some court order; you should claim your vehicle from your father-in-law and if he refuses, you should let him know your intention of legal action.
