Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
If i am providing unarmed security at a college party off campus at a private residence, how much legal protection do i have if i get into an altercation with a non-compliant guest/uninvited guest?
How far is too far, and what would be the point of me becoming the criminal in the situation?

Hard to say under what appear to be essentially unknowable but necessarily relevant facts arising out of what is essentially a speculative situation at this particular point in time(in my opinion).
