Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

Question:

My son was recently charged with several petty larceny charges and convicted (actually a year ago). All were juvenile charges at age 15. Recently while looking for a summer job, he needed a DMV record check and all convictions were on his driving record. I went to see the Fluvanna county and they eventually said it was a 'mistake' and that they would correct the record. My problem is this, how many 'other' gment agencies did the 'dump' this info to? Did anyone (agency) save or 'cache' this info? Is this a civil rights violation or soemthing similar??

Please help as i fear that everyone now has his info and the county did it intentionally.

Civil rights violation? No, I would think not (at least in the legal sense).

As for your speculation regarding the alleged "dump" of your son's

juvenile information, how would anyone in this forum reliably know the answer?

The important issue which I would think, probably, needs to be verified

several times over is whether or not Fluvanna County Court officials

have corrected their mistake and that in fact your son's juvenile record has

now been properly sealed and protected from public scrutiny.
