how do i go about getting my record exsponged.

Re: how do i get my record exsponged

You cannot get a record of a felony conviction expunged in Virginia unless

you can prove that you were wrongfully convicted and have received a pardon from the governor. (See Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.)

However, it may now be possible to get

a record of a misdemenaor conviction expunged if you follow exactly the expungement procedures described in the above-referenced statute as they apply to misdemeanor convictions.
