Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Remote pretrial appearance in nearer federal court
Is it possible, either through Federal law and/or valid motion, to be able to conduct pretrial procedures and hearings for a case, that require an appearance, remotely and/or wholly in a Federal Court that is much closer to one's residence than in the Fed. Court where the case had to be filed, which is much further away.

Re: Remote pretrial appearance in nearer federal court
Probably not, but this is the type of issue which the defendant's attorney should be taking up(and litigating if necessary) with the federal court where the case was orignially filed on the apparent basis of forum non conveniens.
