Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
If you let some one rent a ringtone you and you both go half on everything rent and deposit and she has stayed with you for a month and tells you she might be moving out next month do you have to give the deposit back when she moves out

You mean you might be holding back this lady's share of this rental deposit because she might
owe you (some day) for a ringtone? No, I don't think so and if that's all that's at stake here, you
should return her share of the deposit as soon as she moves out (in my opinion).
