Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Rights
Two people sign a lease for a mortage and are together in a relationship with a child (but not married). They live together for over a year in the house and only person A has a job. Person B gets a job, but they break up the next month. Person B refuses to leave the house and refuses to pay any mortage on the house and this has been going on since sept 07. Court date keeps getting continued. Is there anything Person A can do w/out ruining their credit? They also have a vehicle together which person B will not pay a dime on, but Person B is the only one with a key to it (vehicle key has a chiP) and refuses to let person A drive it. Is there anything that can be done?

Person A's remedy, realistically (in my opinion)lies most probably in gathering as quickly as he can as much distance as he possibly can between himself and Person B (legal consequences, notwithstanding).
