if you sale a car as is and the car stop running or broke the same day what happen to the saler?

If the used car is sold AS IS in a private sale, and the seller has not commited fraud nor misrepresentation as to its condition, and the car shortly thereafter stops running, I'd say the buyer is pretty much STUCK.
