if you sale a car as is and the stop running or broke the same day what happen to the saler?

If a car is sold AS IS in a private sale and stops running shortly thereafter, and the seller has not fraudulently misrepresented its condition to the buyer, I'd say that the buyer is without a remedy, i.e., STUCK.
