Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

Please help!

My sister is in the middle of a divorce and is dating a man who is very hard on the her children. My family is concerned but my sister is clueless. This boyfriend has twistedmy arm and my nephews, looked at child porn on my parents computer while visiting, stolen many bottles of pain medication from our family, and my nephew pulled a knife on him. THe family is very worried and would like to do something. Can we get a restarining order on the boyfriend so that he can not be near the children? Ro what else can we do? My sister lives in Richmond, Va and we live in Roanoke, VA. PLease advise!

If your sister's children are currently endangered by the presence of her boyfriend, you should inform the Child Protective Services Agency in the Richmond area via their hotline and they will then take matters from there.
