Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia
Is this slander or libel case
Is this a libel case. My son on his website stated some facts about an incident that happend to him 6 months back. He did not mention any names or entities whatsoever.
A person called yesterday and threatened us with a lawsuit if we did not take down the written words within 24 hours. Nowhere on my son's website does it name any names at all...
My question is do they have a case ?

It depends if it is obvious from the context that it is about a specific person. That can't be answered in the abstract.
