Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

My son was kicked out of marching band from Thomas dale high school by the dean of students for speculation of forgeerer . we his parents where ever called or talked to about this . this also happened after school regular hours.regardless of the fact he ad a newer doctors note that nullefies all other notes. I feel like the fact my son is gay that his rights have been volated . what can I do I tried contacting the school board but I just don't kow

So, why not contact this dean of students as well as the principal of the school to get their respective explanations for this action taken against your son?
