Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

Being sued by school

I'm signed up for school three months ago. To my understanding, school was so new that they do not have financial aid set up yet, so they had payment plans. I was paying every month. But things have come up that I can no longer continue. I got a summons to appear in court in 2 months for breacf contract. I was not given any copy of my school contracts or anything of that sort, I'm not able to look at the agree. School also has a teacher that is not certified by state to teach. They are suing me for the remainder of whatever the school costs. Would it be wise to seek a lawyer? I'm confused.

Yes, "it would be wise to seek a lawyer", particularly, if you're confused and have little or no idea as to how you should defend yourself. (It may not be necessary to retain the attorney for the entire representation but rather for merely an hour or two of consultation and advice as to what your options might be in this situation.)
