Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

vehicle rights

I purchased a vehicle for friend, who no longer upholds their end of the bargain. I asked for the vehicle back, the individual told me I have to give them 30 days. I contacted my bank, and they stated that is not true. I am the legal and only owner so i can get it back when I want. What are my rights as the owner of the vehicle. The person was making all payments back to me since the vehicle was purchased. The payments were being debited from my account each month, but the person was paying me back in cash payments. What is it that I need to do, in order to retrieve my vehicle back.

Re: vehicle rights

If you are the only owner, and your consent is terminated, get a warrant from the magistrate for unauthorized use, a criminal charge.
